The ice storm that we have been having is the cause of 41 deaths. Our roads here in Texas have been pretty bad. Rain has come and go for the past three days. Then Sunday night tempertures dropped to below 25 degrees. Roads were slick and many people lost there lives. They said that 41 people lost their lives yesterday. We needed the rain, but definitely not deaths. Tell me what you think and what you would do in a situation like that.

He wants to send 20,000 additional soliders to Iraq. He apologize for the non-satisfactory of those who are not satisfied with the direction of our strategy in Iraq. Bush revised the war plan and planned to send 21,500 troops to Baghdad. I think that we should just leave everyone alone and come home. And when they as if they need our help then we will go back, but we dont need to loose any more of our soliders. I honestly hate discussing politics because they upset me. Tell me what you thin kshould happen with our troops.

If I had the chance to become a foreign exchange student, I would take the offer in a heart-beat. I would pick to go to Jos, Nigeria. Why? Because I have some cousins there that are doing missionary work. I think that haveing a country girl like me would be something very different to them! Of course I would have to go for test and I would have to get all the flu shots and HIV and AIDS shots before I left. Other wise I think living in Nigeria would be an exciting adventure for me! Tell me where you think it would be fun to live to be a foreign exchange student!

On November 1 a young boy by the name of Keith Witherspoon died. This became a shock to me because I had grown up with his sister. He was like an older brother to me. When I read the article I was appaled because if the rehab center in Dallas had excepted him he would have lived. One night he got angry and ran away in over- dosed on “cheese” in a tunnel in Mesquite. Keith went by the name “Tooter”. In the tunnel that he died in was writen R.I.P Tooter. I know his family is going through alot of pain. I miss and loved him as much as his own mother and father did.

Then that night we go to her church for the Christmas candle light service. Then we go back to my grandmas house and sit around and talk about pasts Christmas’s. Then Christmas morning we wake up and eat some breakfast. And then the very best part…opening presents!! After most of the presents are open my grandma gets in the kitchen and starts making the Christmas lunch. Christmas at our house really isn’t all that great but it’s a real fun time for all of the family. And now that we have three new grandkids it’s going to be super fun!
